Applications are invited for one post of Senior Research Fellow with a fellowship (Fixed amount of Rs. 42,000 per month - HRA (20%) in a sanctioned research project (ANRF, New Delhi) entitled “Investigating the role of TRIM- NHL proteins in modulating release of mitochondrial DAMPs and inflammation in Parkinson’s Disease”. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The duration of the project will be maximum for 3 Years.

Essential Qualification : The candidate should have a first-class post-graduate degree in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Molecular & Human Genetics / Zoology / Animal Science / Life Sciences with qualified NET/GATE or equivalent examination.
Desirable Qualifications : Candidates with hands-on experience in maintenance and differentiation of primary cell cultures, and expertise in fundamental techniques and functional assays of neuro biology, cell culture, molecular biology techniques will be given preference.
Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in the area of neuro-biology, neuronal cell culture, molecular biology and cell biology.
Age-Limit : The upper age limit is 35 years for general category. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 5 years for SC/ST. physically handicapped, and female candidates, as per Government of India rules.
Fellowship : Rs. 42,000 per month - HRA (20%)
