Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on the research project sponsored by the ANRF, New Delhi. The position will be purely on contractual basis as per the following details

Project Title : Optimization of Patented Lead BITS-NPRG-243 for Dual Inhibition of Pancreatic Lipase and Adipogenesis: Rational Design, Chemical Synthesis, Preclinical, Toxicological and Pharmacokinetics Evaluation
Project Tenure : 1 years (extendable to 2 years based on performance)

Project / Job Description : Selected candidate with Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry qualification will have to perform design and synthesis of the of patented lead BITS-NPRG-243 Candidate with Pharmacology/Biotechnology qualification will have to perform in-vitro enzyme & adipocyte cell-based bio-assays, In-vivo, toxicological and pharmacokinetic studies

Qualification : M.Pharm / M.S Pharm in Medicinal Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacology / Biotechnology

Upper Age Limit : 28 years as of the date of the interview. Age relaxation is allowed as per government rule.

Fellowship / Stipend : As per ANRF norm [37,000/- Rs + HRA (as applicable)]

Registration for PhD : Selected candidates may be permitted to register for the PhD program of BITS Pilani, subject to fulfilling the requirements of the PhD qualification process as per the institute norms.

Selection Process : Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit, experience, and as per the requirements of the project. Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview, which will be conducted through online mode. Only qualified and suitable candidates will be called for an interview.
