Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following temporary posts purely on a contractual basis at AIIMS Deoghar, Jharkhand for the project titled “Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog, Hita and Maitri (BHISHM) Cube” funded by MoHFW under Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM)

Project Duration : 01 Year (subject to scheme approval for further continuation)
Qualifications Essential : • B.Pharmacy from a recognized university
• Registered with Pharmacy council with 2 years of experience post qualification OR
• 10+2 with Science stream (PCB) from a recognized Institute
• Approved diploma in pharmacy from an Institute recognized by Pharmacy Council of India.
• Registered with Pharmacy council.
• 3 Yrs experience post essential qualification as Pharmacist.
Desirable :
• Working knowledge of computer applications.
Consolidated Remuneration (per month) : Rs. 40,000/-
Job Responsibilities
• Dispense medications as per treatment protocols.
• Maintain accurate and updated drug inventory within the BHISHM Cube.
• Ensure proper record-keeping of all pharmacy-related activities, including dispensing and stock movement.
• Assist in the procurement, replenishment, and management of essential drugs and medical supplies.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, institutional policies, and quality standards.
• Assist in performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as per medical requirements.
• Collect, label, and prepare biological samples for testing or analysis.
Selection Procedure
1. Mode of selection will be walk in interview only. However, In case of a large number of applications, the Institute reserves the right to adopt suitable shortlisting criteria based on educational qualifications, relevant experience or other parameters as deemed appropriate by the Competent Authority. The document verification shall also be carried out on the date of interview.
2. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of the information, other documents, and photographs submitted. If the candidate wants to apply for more than one post, a separate application must be submitted for each post.
3. Mere possession of prescribed qualifications doesn’t entitle a candidate for selection. AIIMD/Admn/Rect(PROJ)/1/2026-Admin I/589/2026
4. The Institute may shortlist candidates based on qualification and experience. Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview.
5. AIIMS Deoghar reserves the right to cancel/ modify the recruitment process at any time, at its discretion. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Interviews will be conducted in person at AIIMS, Deoghar, Jharkhand.
6. Terms and Conditions of Appointment
1. The assignments shall be purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project or for a period of one year, whichever is earlier, unless extended. These appointments shall not confer any right on the candidate to claim regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS Deoghar, Jharkhand. Continuation or extension of the contractual appointment may be considered based on review of performance and work done under the project.
2. The number of posts advertised is provisional and may vary depending upon the requirement of the Institute. The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts at any stage of the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
3. Any corrigendum, clarification, amendment or update regarding this advertisement shall be published only on the official website of AIIMS Deoghar. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the Institute website for updates.
4. The appointment shall be purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. The engagement shall automatically terminate upon completion or closure of the project without any prior notice.
5. Selected candidates may be required to participate in the deployment, operation and demobilization of BHISHM Cubes and may be required to travel outside the Institute premises as part of project activities, including emergency response situations.
6. Selected candidates shall be required to perform duties during emergency situations, disaster response operations, and extended working hours as required for the functioning of the BHISHM Cube project.
7. Appointment to the above posts shall be subject to medical fitness as per the norms of AIIMS Deoghar.
8. The appointment shall be subject to verification of character and antecedents. If any adverse information is found during verification, the candidature or appointment shall be liable to cancellation.
9. It is the candidates’ responsibility to ascertain and ensure their eligibility as per the prescribed qualification and experience. If any declaration given or information furnished by him/her proves false or if he/she is found to have willfully suppressed any material or information, he/she will be liable for removal from service and also such other action as the Government may deem necessary. Even after qualifying in the selection process, the candidate may be rendered disqualified at the time of document verification if he/she does not fulfil essential eligibility criteria.
10. No other/ additional allowances other than the consolidated salary mentioned will be admissible. The appointee shall NOT be entitled to any of the benefits available to other employees of AIIMS Deoghar appointed on a regular basis.
11. The appointee shall perform the duties assigned to him/her. The competent authority reserves the right to assign any duty as and when required. No extra/additional allowances will be admissible in case of such assignment.
12. The appointee shall be on a whole-time appointment basis for the project concerned and shall not accept any other assignment paid or otherwise, and shall not engage himself/herself in private practice of any kind during the period of the contract.
13. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview and for joining the duties in case of selection.
14. Candidates employed in government job must produce a "No Objection Certificate" from their employer at the time of interview otherwise they may not be permitted to appear in the interview.
15. Leave entitlement of the appointee shall be governed as per Institute’s guidelines.
16. If any declaration given or information furnished by him/her is found to be incorrect/ false or if he/she is found to have willfully suppressed any material or information, he/she will be liable for removal from service and also such other action as may be deemed necessary by the Competent Authority. All disputes will be subject to jurisdictions of Court of Law at Deoghar.
17. If any candidate is found canvassing for his/her selection, he/she will be disqualified from the selection process. 18. If any candidate fails to produce the original documents at the time of document verification, his/her candidature shall be cancelled. 19. The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
20. No hostel or any other accommodation shall be provided by the Institute.
21. The final result will be declared on the website of AIIMS Deoghar, and the selected candidate will be informed through email. Selected candidates may be required to join within 15 days.
22. Incomplete applications or applications received after the last date shall be summarily rejected.
23. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the AIIMS Deoghar website (aiimsdeoghar.edu.in/) for any update regarding this recruitment. No separate communication will be sent to the candidates regarding changes in the date and time of the interview/ written exam.
