Qualification : Diploma in Pharmacy Pass and Gujarat Pharmacy Council Registered Pharmacist
Fixed salary : Rs.40,800/- for five years and after five years of satisfactory service, considering the need for the post, Rs.29200-92300/- (Pay Matrix Level-5) as per the 7th Pay Commission (Rs.5200-20200, Grade Pay-2800 as per the 6th Pay Commission) will be considered.
Age limit : Not less than 18 years and not more than 33 years
Computer Qualification : A certificate of having basic knowledge of computer application will have to be submitted as per the provision of Rule-8 (1A) of Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment General Rules-1967. Resolution No. CRR-10-2007-120320-G.5 dated 13/08/2008 of the General Administration Department of the Government.
Citizenship : A candidate for admission in the examination should be (a) a citizen of India or (b) a citizen of Nepal (c) a citizen of Bhutan or (d) a Tibetan exile who came to India before 01/01/1962 with the intention of permanently residing in India or (f) an Indian person who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries - Kenya, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, United Republic of Tanzania, and has come to India with the intention of permanently residing in India, but the persons falling under the categories (b) to (f) shall be eligible for appointment only if they have obtained an eligibility certificate from the Government of Gujarat. The candidate for this post should be a native of the State of Gujarat and a domicile of the State of Gujarat.

• To register candidature for the said post, an online application has to be made on the website of Rajkot Municipal Corporation. Applications made through any other medium will be considered void. The above posts and further details related to them can be obtained from rmc.gov.in.
• Only candidates having the prescribed qualifications of the post have to apply. The application fee will not be refunded/returned after applying.
• Qualification, experience, age and all other related factors will be calculated as on the last date of application and the candidate who submits wrong details in the online application will be considered ineligible for further recruitment process and any subsequent correction in the information submitted by the candidate while applying will not be taken into consideration.
• Candidates with physical disability will have to indicate the percentage/details of their disability in the Personal Details in the online form.
• Only candidates who are capable of performing the duties of the relevant category will be considered for the posts other than the physically disabled reservation.
• Candidates who are selected for the posts reserved for the physically disabled and ex-servicemen will be considered as candidates of the category (non-reserved/economically weaker sections/SC/SC/SC) and will be included in the post of that category.
• As per the resolution of the State Government dated 15/02/2001 No. CRR-102008-GOI-7-G.2, only those with physical disability of 40% or more will be eligible for physical disability benefits.
• Ex-servicemen candidates who have served in the Army Forces of Water, Air and Land for at least six months and possess the identity card and discharge book of a competent officer as an ex-serviceman will get relaxation of up to three years in the upper age limit in addition to the period of duty performed by them.
• As per the resolution demand of the General Administration Department of the Government of India: GAD/ERE/e-file/1/2023/625/G. dated 24/01/2024, ex-servicemen who are going to retire as ex-servicemen within one year from the last date of filing of candidatures can file their candidatures subject to the provisions of the said resolutions.
• Considering the number of applications received from the candidates, the selection will be made by the appointing officer following the appropriate procedure for fixing the merit marks of the candidates.
• If there is a need to cancel or change this advertisement for any reason, the final decision will be taken by the Commissioner, Rajkot Municipal Corporation.
• The candidate must keep additional copies of the passport size photograph uploaded in the online application form and must present the same photograph at the time of recruitment process (oral interview/practical test/etc.).
• An employee working in Rajkot Municipal Corporation must present the last month's pay slip at the time of verification of original certificates. In addition, if he has served in more than one post, a copy of the promotion or selection order must be submitted.
• The upper age limit for all categories of candidates with all kinds of relaxations should not be more than 45 years on the last date of acceptance of applications in any case, except in the employment of Rajkot Municipal Corporation.
• The candidate will not be allowed to change the category later in the caste (category) mentioned in the online application.
• It is mandatory for the candidate to write his/her mobile number in the appropriate place in the online application form, on which messages regarding recruitment can be given in the future. Rajkot Municipal Corporation will not be responsible for the message not reaching the candidate who does not write the correct mobile number.

• Candidates will have to come at their own expense for the oral interview/practical test/etc.
• The rights of the selection process shall be vested in the Staff Selection Committee/Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot Municipal Corporation as determined by the competent authority and the decision of this Committee/Municipal Commissioner shall be final.
• The appointment of the selected candidate shall be subject to such conditions as the Authority may decide.
• Pressure brought directly or indirectly to bear on the members of the Staff Selection Committee shall not be deemed to be a threat to the candidate.
• Direct or indirect pressure exerted on the members of the Staff Selection Committee will result in disqualification of the candidate.
• If the need arises to cancel or modify the given advertisement for any reason, then Rajkot Municipal Corporation shall have the full right/authority to do so and Rajkot Municipal Corporation shall not be bound to give reasons for this.
• The recruitment process of the said vacant posts will be subject to the roster rules prevailing at that time. Considering the number of applications in the advertisement, the decision of the Municipal Commissioner will be final as to whether to consider all the candidates for further recruitment process or shortlist them on the basis of merit and consider them for further recruitment process practical test/etc.

Method of payment of application fee : Disabled candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 250/-. This application fee will be accepted only and only through online/net banking. After paying the application fee, the candidate will have to save his application number and transaction ID. No refund will be given after paying the application fee. Applications without payment of the fee will be liable to be cancelled. Candidates who do not pay the application fee will not be allowed to sit for any kind of oral interview/practical test as per the procedure prescribed by the appointing officer.
