Established on October 1, 1933 as University Department of Chemical Technology (popularly called UDCT) of the University of Bombay (now Mumbai), with the noble intention of advancing India’s knowledge reserves in chemical science and technology, the Institute has grown to become a premier (deemed) university devoted to education, training, research and industrial collaboration in chemical engineering, chemical technology, applied chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology and bio-processing. The then UDCT grew in stature over the years and was granted partial autonomy by the University of Mumbai in 1985, which was taken to the next echelon under the concept of autonomy propagated by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Essential Qualification : M.Tech. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology or equivalent degree from a UGC recognized University
Desirable Qualification : Hands-on experience in peptide characterization and 3D printing, with exposure to drug-device combination product development, along with proficiency in pharmaceutical formulation and physicochemical characterization techniques (HPLC/UPLC,FTIR, NMR, DLS, CD) and in-vitro drug release and permeation studies, relevant to advanced polymeric biomedical systems.
Fellowship : INR 56,000 + 30% HRA per month
Duration : 12 months
Job Description : Involvement in research and development of advanced pharmaceutical and biomedical systems, including formulation development, biomaterials processing, analytical characterization, and laboratory experimentation, with support in data analysis, documentation, and innovation-driven research activities. The position is full time and tenable at ICT Mumbai campus.
