JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, formerly known as JSS University, is a Deemed to be University located in Mysuru, Karnataka. It was established in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 and is part of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which runs a variety of educational institutions. This deemed-to-be university is recognized by Ministry of Education and accredited by NAAC with A+ Grade (3.48 CGPA). JSS AHER has been graded as Category-I Deemed-to-be University by UGC.
JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru invites applications from eligible candidates for the following posts in the University Sophisticated Instrumentation Centre (USIC) at JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru.
Technical Officer - Flow Cytometer
M.Sc. in Biophysics/ Biology/ Biochemistry/ or Biotechnology with equivalent skills with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in handling the flow cytometer in Industry/ Academics.
Technical Officer - Confocal microscopy
M.Sc. in Biophysics/ Biology/ Biochemistry/ or Biotechnology with equivalent skills with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in handling the confocal microscope in Industry/Academics.
Technical Officer LCMS / HRMS
• M.Pharm / MSc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry or equivalent with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in Analysis/QC
• B. Pharm. / BSc. or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience in analysis/QC
• Experience with HPLC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS/MS and wet chemistry.
• Experience in method development and validation for small molecules/natural product extracts/ biomolecules is desirable.
Technical Officer- FT-NMR Spectrometer
• M.Pharm / MSc. with 1-2 years minimum experience in handling NMR preferably Jeol 400 MHz High-Resolution Multinuclear FT-NMR Spectrometer will be considered.
•Experience in preparing and analysing solution state NMR samples.
• Experience with small molecules/natural product extracts/formulations/biomolecules NMR analysis is desirable
Salary as per the norms of JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru.
