About the Program
This program is being organized at CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad with the support from SERB, Govtof India under the KARYASHALA scheme to impart greater awareness about the various Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and their benefits. This program will cover the aspects of novelty assessment, research ideation and execution through the use of variouscomputational tools and databases (including AI based databases) for patentability assessment and technology forecasting. This program shall also cover patent drafting, patentfiling and prosecution process. Expert faculties will also impart the applied aspects of licensing or commercialisation process of technology, know-how or IP and involved legal instrumentsfor the participants.Overall, this two week program shall cater the IP dosing need for R&D beginners and also for those who are looking for their career in IP
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & SEAT CAPACITY
Students pursuing/completed (but not enrolled for PhD) their Masters degree in Science/Technology : 10 seats
Students pursuing PhD degree in Science/Technology : 15 seats
Participants must have their own laptop with WINDOWS-7 or above and MS-Office
Participants must be double vaccinated for COVID-19 and should adhered to COVID appropriate behaviors as per rule
Selection Criteria
If the number of applicants are more than the seat capacity then the candidates having NET-JRF/LS/GATE/ SLET/academic marks (as applicable) may be preferred. The decision of the EO/Competent authority shall be final and binding.
