M.Pharm Job as Project Associate at Institute of Chemical Technology

The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai was established as the Department of Chemical Technology on 1st October, 1933 by the University of Mumbai, through active support of industries and philanthropists. The Institute was most popularly known as UDCT, Mumbai. Research has been an integral part of ICT since its inception and it has created over 500 first generation entrepreneurs. The UDCT grew significantly in stature and was granted autonomy under UGC regulations by the University of Mumbai and further converted in to an Institute on 26th January, 2002.

Post : Project Associate - I

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the post of Project Associate - I to work at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology, ICT, Mumbai for the project titled development of drug-eluting coatings for self-expandable peripheral stents for treatment of in-stent restenosis” funded by SERB. The project is purely time-bound, and the position is temporary, with an initial appointment for one year, which is extendable up to three years, solely based on performance. The selected candidate may be allowed to register for Ph.D. (Tech.) as per rules of ICT.

Project duration : 3 years

Essential Qualifications : M.Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), MS (Pharmaceutics), M.Tech (Pharmaceutics) or equivalent degree from a recognized University/ Institute with a good academic background with successfully qualified national level exams like CSIR-NET GATE, and GPAT, ’

Desirable Qualifications : Work experience in formulation development, nanodeliverv system, device coating and scientific writing.

Fellowship : Rs. 31,000 per month + HRA as admissible (as per SERB norms)
