The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is the state of art of R&D wing of the Tata Memorial Centre. It is located in the picturesque settings at the foot hills of the Sahyadri mountains in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.  ACTREC comprises of, the Cancer Research Institute (CRI), Clinical Research Centre (CRC) and Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CEC), a setting that is unique in India and built and evolved with a vision to provide comprehensive cancer care to one and all, through its motto of excellence in services, education and research.

WALK - IN - INTERVIEW FOR POST DOCTORAL FELLOW (01 Post) (ON PROJECT- Involving protein-protein interaction studies)

Job Description : To Clone, sub-clone, design mutants, express and purify proteins. Perform biochemical, biophysical, structural and cell-based studies with relevant proteins to characterize their interactions.
Minimum Qualification : Doctoral degree in biochemistry, biotechnology and Life Sciences and related biological fields from a recognized university.
Experience : Minimum one year of post Ph.D. experience will be preferred. Experience in recombinant protein purification, molecular biology, structural biology, biochemistry and cell based experiments are required. Extensive experience in bacterial protein expression and purification, molecular biology, mammalian cell culture and apoptosis assays is desirable.

Consolidated Salary : RS.40,000/- per month.


Duration : Six months & extendable.
