Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), is the first Pharmacy University of India established by an Act7 of 2008 of State Legislature of Delhi as a State University vide Notification No.F. 2(412)/2008/SB/Vol. II/71 dated 21.01.2010 and is empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956 through its own departments and constituent colleges in regular mode vide notification No. F.9-19/2015/(CPP-I/PU) dated 22nd September 2015. Delhi Government legislation on 17th October, 2008 (Delhi Act 07 of 2008) and made functional from by notification on 24th July, 2015.

Applications are invited form Indian Nationals for the following position under the project entitled Establishment of Centre of Precision Medicine and Pharmacy’ sanctioned by Directorate of Training & Technical Education. Appointment will be temporary/ contractual nature for the 11 months, which can be continued for maximum of 3 terms on the basis of the performance

Junior Research Fellow - 02 Posts
Duration : 11 months based on performance
Emoluments : Rs. 30, 000/- (Consolidated)
Educational Qualifications & Experience : Essential: The candidates should have a first class bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm.)/ B. Tech (Biotech) with 2 years of experience Or Post Graduate degree in Pharmacy/Biotechnology with knowledge of Gene Sequencing.
Upper age limit : 35 years (relaxable for 5 years for Sc/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates).

Research Associate - 01 Post
Duration : 11 months based on performance
Emoluments : Rs. 50,000/- (Consolidated)
Educational Qualifications & Experience : Essential: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Pharmacology with minimum of 1 years of research experience of gene sequencing with Next Generation sequencing equipment
Desirable : Proficiency in “Precision Medicine for various diseases like cancer, infectious, diseases, cardiovascular and metabolic disorders.
Upper age limit : 40 years (relaxable for 5 years for Sc/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates).
