BIT, Mesra is a "Deemed University" under Sec. 3 of the U.G.C. Act 1956. It functions under the overall supervision, direction and control of a high power Board of Governors, comprising representatives of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, the U.G.C., the State Government, The Chancellor, the AICTE, The Hindustan Charity Trust and the Institute Faculty. Shri G.P. Birla is the Chairman of the Board of Governors. The Governor of the state of Jharkhand is the Chancellor of the Institute. The Technical Council decides the academic policy of the Institute.
Candidates are invited to attend a Walk-in-Interview for the post of Junior Research Fellowship in the project titled “Phyto-chemical characterization of polyphenols in Ocimum tenuiflorum and investigation on its protective potentials against oxidative stress and DNA damage.” funded by DST-SERB (File No. EMR/2016/005695 dated. 15/3/2018) to Dr. Biswatrish Sarkar, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technology.
Essential Qualification : First Class M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology/ Pharmaceutics/ Pharmacology or Equivalent from reputed University/Institute
Desirable Qualification : Hands on knowledge of Development of Pharmaceutical Formulations, Animal Handling, Animal Cell Culture Techniques and Molecular Biology will be preferable
Fellowship : Rs. 25,000 per month + HRA as applicable (For 2 years)
Date of interview: March 25, 2019 (Monday) at 10:00 AM at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technology, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.
