Jamia HamdardThe history of Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small Unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed had a vision of making the practice of Unani Medicine into a scientific discipline so that Unani medicines could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients.

Applications are invited on plain paper from eligible candidates for the purely temporary post Project Fellow (01) in the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India sanctioned project.

Project Title: “Evaluation of possible role of SHP-1 in obese insulin resistant murine model using fluorescence resonance energy transfer [FRET] approach”

Principal Investigator: Dr. Farah Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, School of Chemical and Life Sciences, Jamia Hamdard, Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi – 110062.

Essential Qualifications:
1. First class Master’s degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences.
2. Preferably NET/GATE qualified.

Stipend: Rs.20800/- (consolidated, no other allowances) per month (The position is temporary) Duration of the project: One year or the completion of the project whichever is earlier
