Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an Institution of National Importance established through an Act of Indian Parliament by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India under the auspices of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology.

Title of Project : Investigating the severity of dengue infection in diabetes. ICMR, Govt. of India. Project No. 14/1923/SGP-2023 Duration : Till end of the project i.e.,14.02.2027

Essential Qualifications : 1) M.Sc./M. Tech. in Life Sciences or related biological science disciplines from recognized Universities or equivalent, with at least 60% marks.
Essential Requirements : Experience Certificate from the PI(s) showing applicant’s skill in working with virus preferably dengue virus. Conducting experiments using small animals.
Desirable Qualifications : 1) Experience Certificate from the PI(s) showing applicant’s skill in molecular biology techniques such as flow cytometry, microscopy, western blot and PCR assays.
2) Any National Level eligibility test such as NET, GATB, GATE, etc.
Principal Investigator : Dr. Prasenjit Guchhait, Professor, RCB, Faridabad.
Emoluments : Rs. 28,000/- + 30% HRA per month.
