Shri Vishwakarma Skill University invites offline applications for post of Professor and Associate Professor

Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU), is first Government Skill University established by the Government of Haryana, and have its permanent campus at Dudhola, District-Palwal, Haryana.

The University invites offline applications from eligible candidates working on the analogous post i.e. Professor(s) in APL-14 and Associate Professor(s) in APL-13A (under 7th CPC) in the Govt. Organizations/Govt. Institutes/PSUs/Autonomous Body/State or Central Universities on deputation basis for the below mentioned posts for a period of one year in first instance which can be extended on year to year basis upto three years with mutual consent.

Skill Professor
Eligibility Conditions/Qualifications
(i) Essential : 1. A Basic degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.).
2. Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments.
3. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy, and experience of ten 10 years in teaching, research, industry and / or profession at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade;
4. A total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Annexure-B OR (ii). In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
1. First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy; and
2. Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy and industrial / professional experience of five years at a senior level comparable to Assistant Professor / Reader, Provided that the recognition for significant professional shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a 3-Member Committee of Experts appointed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Desirable :
1. Teaching, industrial research and / or professional experience in a reputed organization;
2. Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / obtained, books, and / or technical reports;
3. Experience of guiding the project work, dissertation of post graduate or research students or supervising R&D projects in industry;
4. Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and /or professional activities; and
5. Capacity to undertake / lead sponsored R&D, consultancy and related activities.

Skill Associate Professors
Eligibility Conditions/Qualifications
(i) Essential : 1. A Basic degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.).
2. Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments.
3. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy, and experience of eight years in teaching, research, industry and / or profession at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade; excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.
4. A total research score of 75 as per the criteria given in Annexure- B OR In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential :
1. First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy;
2. Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy and industrial / professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer, Provided that the recognition for significant professional shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a 3- Member Committee of Experts appointed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University.

Important Instructions:-
1. The candidate must be citizen of India
2. Application form is required to be submitted in offline mode by the last date. Duly completed in all respect.
3. No TA/DA is payable for attending the interview.
4. Application not supported with required self-attested copies of certificates/ testimonials will not be considered. Incomplete applications or the applications received after the last date of receipt of applications will be rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. All the enclosed documents should be Self-attested, Indexed duly page numbered.
5. Concealment of facts or supply of wrong information will result in cancellation of candidature at any time.
6. The Candidates are advised to keep on visiting the University website for related updates including any corrigendum/addendum/interview/ list of shortlisted candidates etc. Further, no information in respect of this advertisement shall be published in the newspapers.
7. No correspondence what so ever will be entertained from the candidates regarding conduct/ result of Interview and the reason for not being called for Interview.
8. Kindly note that merely appearing in an interview shall not confirm any right of deputation.
9. A candidate who is already in service shall submit the application through proper channel along with vigilance clearance certificate from the competent authority. However, the candidate may send an advance copy of the application and in case the application is not forwarded due to any reason till the time of interview, as the case may be, the candidate, should produce a “No Objection Certificate” along with the “Vigilance Clearance Certificate” in a sealed cover from the employer at the time of interview, failing which candidature of the candidate will not be entertained and will not be allowed to appear in the interview. 10. The candidates who are applying for the higher post may check their eligibility before filling the application for deputation.

11. The application for appointment on deputation shall be forwarded by the employer along with the Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs)/ Self-Appraisal Reports (SAR)/Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) for the preceding five years and Vigilance Clearance Certificate duly certified by the Competent Authority (Annexure-D). Application received through email or after the last date and time due to any reason including postal delay will not be considered,
12. The period of Deputation will be initially for a period of one year in the first instance which may be extended up to three years with mutual consent. However, the University reserves the right to repatriate any such employee at any stage without assigning any reason.
13. The terms and conditions of deputation will be as per the rules of the Parent University/ Haryana Govt.
14. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection, which may be detected at any stage even after issuing the appointment letter for deputation, the University reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the applicant in this regard.
