National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER - Raebareli) is an autonomous body which has been established under the aegis of the Department of pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, in the Government of India, to provide leadership in pharmaceutical Sciences and other related areas. It admits students for M.S (Pharm), programmes in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Regulatory Toxicology and Biotechnology every year. Ph.D programmes in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology & Toxicology started from 2017 and in Biotechnology from 2021.
Online interview for the Project Research Scientist-I under the NOHM-funded Project
Project Title : mRNA prime-protein boost vaccination regimen targeting Anamnestic effect for stronger and more sustained protective immune response to address urgent unmet need of Chandipura virus vaccine
Funding Agency : National One Health Mission (NOHM)
Duration : 3 years (up to the termination of the project)
Emoluments : Project Research Scientist-I @Rs. 56,000 Rs/per month plus HRA as applicable.
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc./M.S. (Pharm) Biotechnology/M. Tech in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Biochemistry/Microbiology with a consistently good academic record with a minimum 70% aggregate or 7.5 CGPA
Desirable Qualification : Candidates with GPAT, GATE, NET, or any other equivalent national- level qualification will be preferred.
Experience : Prior research experience in molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, Cloning, In Vitro Transcription, Nucleic Acid Quantification), handling bacterial/mammalian cell cultures, and proficiency in Linux/Python coding are preferrable.
Upper age Limit : 28 yrs. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/ women and physically disabled candidates.

1. NIPER Raebareli reserves the right to fix suitable selection criteria and or not to select any candidate in case candidates are not found suitable for the applied position.
2. The above post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project.
3. The position will be initially for a period of one year, extendable up to two more years based on the candidate’s performance and project duration
