Project title : Two-fluids multiphase natural convection in differentialy- heated cavities for high heat flux applications.
About the project : The project is concerned with developing a fundamental understanding of the phenomena of two-fluids muti-phase natural convection in a differentialy heated cavity. Boiling and condensation characteristics of relatively high volatile fluids are to be investigated. The fundamental understanding developed through the initial part of the project is to be employed for developing products/technology for cooling solutions for high heat flux application.
Essential Qualifications & Experience : Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / BVSc / B.Pharm or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine or from a recognized University or equivalent. and 2 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services (i) Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests - CSlR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
Job Profile : The job profile includes non-intrusive measurements of signle as well as two-phase flows and heat transfer using some of the advanced light-based imaging techniques. It is expected that the candidate has a thorough understanding and experience of optical imaging principles and hands-on experience on techniques such as interferometry, PIV, gradients-based imaging principles etc. Prior knowledge of developing algorithm and computer codes to analyse the experimental data is required.
Consolidated salary : Rs.42000.00/- p.m. + HRA.
