Pharmacology Fellowship at Central Ayurveda Research Institute

The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) comprises a network of 30 institutes across different regions of India. These institutes are crucial in advancing Ayurvedic research, education, and healthcare practices. With a strong presence throughout the country, CCRAS institutes contribute to preserving, promoting, and disseminating Ayurvedic knowledge.

A Waik-in-interview for the eligible candidates will be held to engage a Senior Research Fellow (Pharmacology) for a pharmacology research project on purely temporary basis at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Barsojai, Guwahati-781028. The required qualifications and other details are as under:-

Post : Senior Research Fellow (Pharmacology)

Title of the Project & Duration : Acute dermal toxicity study and 90 days repeated dose dermal toxicity study of Avush VR oil & Ayush VR ointment in Wistar rats’
Duration : 01 year 06 months.

Qualification / Experience and age limit Essential Qualifications : M.D. (Pharmacology) M. V.Sc. (Pharmacology) M.Pharm (Pharmacology)/ M.S.Pharm (Pharmacology) M. Pharm. (Ay.) M.Sc (Medicinal plants with specialization in Pharmacology with 02 years of research experience).
Desirable : Experience in laboratory animal handling.

Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview.

Monthly remuneration : Rs. 42,000 - + Rs.8,400/- (HRA@20%) = Rs. 50,400 - per month

Interested candidates fulfilling the essential qualifications and age limit may apply in the prescribed proforma along with self-attested copies of certificate in support of age and essential qualification, experience certificate and two passport size recent photographs. The candidates are required to appear for written test followed by interview at the Conference Hall of CARI, Guwahati as per scheduled date and time. The Candidates will be required to carry their original testimonials for verification. The interested candidates must reach the venue at 10.00 am on the stipulated date and beyond that, no candidate will be allowed for interview.

General Conditions :
1. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project and no claim for regular permanent appointment will be entertained.
2. The engagement will be initially for a period of six months, which may be extended up to the tenure of the project subject to satisfactory performance.
3. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on the date of interview & relaxation in age for SC ST OBC candidates will be applicable as per Govt, of India rules.
4. No TA DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
5. The selection committee has the right to accept or reject the application of candidates.
6. The candidates are required to appear for written test followed by interview.
7. The candidates will be required to carry their original testimonials for verification along with self-attested photocopies of certificates and two passport size recent photographs.
8. Candidates already working should produce No Objection Certificate in case he she is employed elsewhere.
