Pharma, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology Internship at NDTL

The National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL), New Delhi is an ISO/IEC 17025 & World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) accredited laboratory. It caters to the field of drug testing and analysis for human samples with its state of art facility including GC/MS, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, GC/C/IRMS, ELISA, protein separation and identification tools towards the goal of making sports free from doping.

NDTL offers opportunity of training facility for deserving students in both summer (July / December) and winter (January-June) sessions. The internship will be for a period of 6 months for the students from different universities / institutions in areas of drug / metabolite testing and analysis (Analytical Chemistry, Instrumentation & Sample preparation)

Eligibility Criteria :
I. The candidate should be pursuing his/ her post graduate (PG) course (II year) (final semester)
II. Eligible Streams/ Degrees are as following :
a. M.Sc. in Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Bio-Technology, Forensic Science, Bio- Sciences,
b. M. Pharm

Terms & Conditions
1. The internship shall be open to Indian National;
2. The internship shall also be extended to foreign national subject to approval of the Competent Authority and compliance with confidentiality protocols.
3. Foreign interns shall be considered only after mandatory clearance from MHA/ MEA keeping in the view the sensitive nature of anti-doping operations.
4. The application shall be submitted online on website only.
5. The last date for submission of application will be 26.06.2026 till 5:00 pm with all the mentioned fields in the online application form along with a forwarding letter from the Head of the department.

6. Statement of Purpose: All applicants must submit a statement of purpose highlighting motivation, goals and expected outcomes.
7. No Objection Certificate (NOC): Applicants enrolled in academic Institutions must provide a duly signed NOC confirming good conduct and absence of active backlogs.
8. Any Incomplete Applications: Any incomplete or unsigned applications shall be rejected.
9. Age Requirement
• The minimum age for internship is 20 years, and the preferred upper age limit is 25 years.
• NDTL shall have the discretion to grant relaxation on a case-to-case basis, depending on the nature of the internship, candidate profile, or specific project requirements.
10. Stipend : A stipend of Rs. 20,000/- per month will be paid during the internship programme for 6 months.
