Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) a Public Sector Undertaking of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, and Government of India has been entrusted the responsibility of implementing this Program. It will house the Program Management Unit (PMU) that would work as an operational and functional arm to oversee and monitor program implementation.

Consolidated Remuneration : Consolidated Fee shall be between Rs.30,000/- to Rs.50,000/- depending upon qualifications & experience.

Tenure : The initial appointment will be for a period of six months, which may be extended based on satisfactory performance and organizational requirements, up to a maximum of two years. This position is purely temporary (on contractual basis) and co-terminus with the project. The present duration of the project is up to September 2026.
Reporting : The person will be reporting to Mission Director – MII

Eligibility :
Essential Qualifications : B.Com/B.E/B. Tech/Post-graduate in Life Sciences / Biotechnology.
Desirable Qualifications : High proficiency in digital tools and communication.
Experience : Post qualification, 0–2 years of experience.
Maximum Age : 26 years as on closing date of application.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct market research and impact analysis of ongoing biomanufacturing initiatives.
• Compile technical reports on sector-specific growth, revenue trends, and industrial vitality.
• Track global technology advancements to align domestic policy with international standards
