Educational Qualifications :
JRF : M.Sc. or M.Tech. in any area of life sciences with good academic record. M.Sc. candidates must have cleared any National Level Eligibility Test (NET/GATE etc).
SRF : Must have at least 2 years of research experience in laboratory settings. JRF candidates MUST have undertaken a minimum of 6 months dissertation project during MSc. This should be clearly stated in their CV, along with a brief description of the work they did, along with the techniques used. Candidates who have previously worked as a PA/JRF etc., should provide a brief description of the work done, along with the techniques used.

Emoluments : The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules, depending upon qualifications & experience:
SRF: Rs. 42,000/- per month plus HRA 27% HRA (As per DST OM dated 26.06.2023)
JRF: Rs. 37,000/- per month plus HRA 27% HRA

Job description & Desired Knowledge :
Hands-on experience in cell culture and molecular biology (particularly RNA isolation, quantitative real-time PCR, and western blotting), as well as microbiology, is REQUIRED. Candidates with data analytics skills, like RNA-seq and metabolomics analysis, will be preferred

General Terms & Conditions
1. The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or for the duration of the project, whichever is shorter, at a time.
2. No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.
3. Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary proof of the same.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, if called for.
5. Apart from sending application in the prescribed format given below, candidates should send complete Curriculum Vitae along with the names of three referees. Curriculum Vitae should contain details of the experimental expertise and list of publications.
