Job description
This project investigates how Tfh cells regulate antibody responses during dengue infection and contribute to severe disease (See article cell.com/cell- reports/fulltext/S2211-1247(25)00137-8). Using a longitudinal cohort of dengue patients, it integrates immunophenotyping, serological profiling, and single-cell RNA/TCR sequencing to define Tfh-cell signatures and functionally validate mechanisms driving protective versus pathogenic outcomes. The candidate should have experience in handling human clinical samples, including PBMC isolation and plasma processing. Strong expertise in immunological assays is required, particularly T-cell phenotyping (flow cytometry, T-cell assays) and serological analyses (ELISA, neutralization assays). Experience in virus handling and isolation, preferably dengue, is desirable. The candidate should be proficient in RNA-seq workflows, including library preparation and bioinformatics analysis (e.g., Seurat, Cell Ranger, R). Familiarity with single-cell transcriptomics and TCR repertoire analysis is essential. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team are expected.
