An advertisement is being published for the following contractual posts under the National Health Mission / District Health Society, District Balod (Chhattisgarh). This recruitment is being conducted in accordance with the district's approved work plan for the financial years 2024-26 and the guidelines laid down in the Human Resource Policy 2018.

Salary : Rs. 16,500/-

Application Guidelines
1. Applicants can download the application format from the district website : balod.gov.in.
2. Incomplete or incorrectly filled applications will be rejected and will not be included in the selection process.
3. Applicants must pay the application fee by scanning the QR code provided in the advertisement and attach a copy of the generated Transaction ID number to the application. Failure to attach a copy of the Transaction ID number will result in the application being deemed ineligible.

General Terms and Guidelines Regarding Recruitment
1. All posts are purely contractual; recruitment for them will be conducted in accordance with the Human Resource Policy 2018 issued by the National Health Mission, Chhattisgarh.
2. Merely applying does not guarantee selection. Original certificates will be verified prior to the release of the final selection list; further action regarding selection will be taken only if the documents are found to be valid.
3. Contractual Honorarium: During the contractual service period, a consolidated monthly honorarium and other amounts will be payable as per the provisions of the ROP (Record of Proceedings); no other allowances or facilities will be provided.
4. The aforementioned contractual period will be valid until March 31, 2027; this period may be extended in accordance with rules, subject to a satisfactory performance evaluation. The contractual posts will automatically stand terminated upon regular recruitment.
5. The contractual appointment of a selected candidate may be terminated at any time after they have assumed duty by serving a notice. Similarly, the candidate must provide one month's notice before resigning; otherwise, they will be required to deposit an amount equivalent to one month's salary.
6. In the event of candidates securing equal marks, seniority will be determined based on their date of birth. Candidates with an earlier date of birth (i.e., those who are older) will be given preference.
7. Candidates eligible for special reservation categories (such as Persons with Disabilities, Ex-servicemen, or Women, as per applicable reservation rules) must attach the relevant documents issued by the competent authority.  Otherwise, in the absence of the required certificate attached to the application form, such candidates will be considered under the General category.
8. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Class (OBC) categories must submit a permanent caste certificate issued by a competent authority.
9. The said contractual post is non-transferable, and reporting for duty at the designated place of posting, as specified in the appointment order, is mandatory. Failure to report at the prescribed time and place of posting will result in the automatic cancellation of the selected candidate's appointment.
10. The performance appraisal of the employee appointed on a contractual basis will be conducted by the controlling officer.

11. Only applications from candidates possessing the qualifications prescribed for the advertised post will be accepted.
12. Merely being selected for the applied post does not confer a right to appointment. Final appointment will depend on the actual availability of vacant posts and other necessary procedures/criteria.
13. A category-wise waiting list will also be issued for the said post; its validity will remain in effect for one year from the date of issue or until the completion of a new recruitment process, whichever occurs earlier.
14. If, at any stage of the selection process, it is found that a candidate is exerting pressure or attempting to influence the impartial selection process in any manner, their application will be rejected, and no claim in this regard will be entertained.
15. Applicants must be bona fide residents of Chhattisgarh. A residence certificate issued by a competent authority must be submitted.
16. The applicant must be a bona fide resident of Chhattisgarh. A domicile certificate issued by a competent authority must be submitted.
17. Candidates must affix a recent passport-sized photograph of themselves—self-attested—in the designated space on the application form.
18. No travel allowance or expenses will be payable to candidates for appearing in the interview or skill test.
19. If a candidate applies for more than one post, the requisite fee must be remitted separately for each application.
20. Candidates currently employed in government or semi-government institutions must attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by their employer to the application form.


21. Upon selection, all candidates will be required to execute a bond stating that they will obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned authority before applying for other positions.
22. The final decision regarding any dispute or issue arising during the recruitment process will rest with the Collector (Chairperson, District Health Committee), based on the recommendation of the District-Level Selection Committee; this decision shall be binding on all applicants.
23. Candidates whose services were previously terminated by the National Health Mission or any other government department due to indiscipline, financial irregularities, or misconduct—regardless of the post held—will be deemed ineligible.
24. The number of notified vacancies may be increased, decreased, or the recruitment process cancelled due to administrative reasons; the Selection Committee/Employer reserves the right to do so.
25. Reservation provisions will be implemented in accordance with the roster system prevailing in the district.
26. Candidates must ensure they review the published preliminary list of eligible/ineligible candidates; otherwise, the applicant will be solely responsible for any errors discovered after the claim/objection period.
27. Candidates should periodically check the district website (www.balod.gov.in). Documents submitted via any other medium after the prescribed deadline will not be accepted.  37. It is mandatory to clearly write the name of the post and the post serial number (as shown in the advertisement) in the designated space on the application form. If the post name and serial number are not clearly specified, the application will be deemed ineligible.
28. For Post Serial No. 22, if marks are indicated in grades, the candidate will be considered eligible only if they mandatorily attach documents—verified by the institutional head or principal—detailing the grading system, total maximum marks, marks obtained, and the percentage.
29. Failure to clearly specify the name of the vacant post applied for will result in the application being rejected or deemed ineligible.
30. For advertised vacancies where the educational qualification requirement is listed as "more than one" or "or," if a candidate submits multiple educational qualifications, only the highest qualification will be considered valid.

Interested and eligible candidates are invited to submit applications in the prescribed format to the Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), District Balod, strictly via Registered Post or Speed Post between 22/06/2026 and 06/07/2026 (by 5:30 PM on working days).
