Job requirement : The selected candidate will have different roles as per the requirement of the project. The selected candidate may be involved in : Screening, identification, comprehensive chemical profiling and functional characterization of novel bioactive compounds from marine organisms. Work will involve sample collection, chemical profiling, compound isolation, structural elucidation, functional characterization etc.

This will involve metabolic profiling, characterization of various compounds using several spectroscopic techniques such as GC-MS, LC-MS, NMR, HRMS, IR, UV and HPLC, genome mining and gene discovery etc.
