Walk in lnterview for 01 post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Microbiology will be held at Central Ayurveda Research Institute, Jhansi on 16.06.2026 (Tuesday) at 10:00 AM onwards as per details given below.

Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Project : Elucidation of antimicrobial potential against MDR bacteria and prebiotic activity of selected Ayurvedic formulations Duration : Two (2.0) Years
Age : Not exceeding 30 years as of 01.01.2026.

Pay : Rs. 37000 + HRA (20%) (per month)

Educational Essential Qualifications : Post Graduate degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences and relevant subjects, with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university.

Desirable : Preference will be given to candidates having a Masters degree in Microbiology with experience in Microbiology techniques, including sub-culturing, preservation, antimicrobial assay, anaerobic culture, MIC, and preparation of extracts from plant materials. Priority will be given to GATE/NET/Ph.D. qualified candidates.

General Terms and conditions :
1. The engagement would be purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project and no claim for the continuance of regular appointments will be entertained.
2 The appointment of all categories of project personnel would be made initially for twelve months and extended for another term of twelve months or six months at a time, and the total duration will not exceed the project period, i.e.. two years
3. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as of 01.01 2026 & Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC etc candidates as per Govt, of India Rules
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. Any kind of canvassing, directly or indirectly, will lead to a direct rejection of the candidate.
