The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD) although registered in April, 2001, under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989, the regular activity of the Institute could be started only with the appointment of its first Director on 18th January, 2003
Applications are invited from deserved and suitable candidates for the following posts under the project entitled “Evaluating Medicinal Plants from Northeast India in Mitigating Associated with Metabolic Dysregulations” funded by DBT, Govt. of India to work on several objectives based on extraction, bioassay guided fractionation and de-replication, chemo profiling of plant materials together with development of formulation, synergy study and mechanism-based evaluation of metabolites and other aspects.
Research Associate-I (01 post)
Upper age limit : 35
Fellowship : @ ₹58,000/- + 8% HRA per month
Duration : 01 year or till the completion of the project (12/06/2027).
Qualifications : Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS in Botany/Chemistry/Pharmacology or equivalent degree or having 3 years research, training and design and development experience.
Project Scientist-II (01 post)
Upper age limit : 40
Fellowship : @ ₹67,000/- + 8% HRA per month
Duration : 01 year or till the completion of the project (12/06/2027).
Qualifications : Doctoral Degree in Botany/Chemistry/Pharmacology or Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent Three years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services in the field of phytopharmaceutical.
Emoluments details of research personal mentioned in table shall be applicable only if candidate(s) met educational qualification and eligible criteria as per DST O.M. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10.07.2020.
**Candidate with experience in ethnobotany, phytopharmaceutical, drug development with proven record will be given preference.
Note : There service shall be as per the Govt. of India norms. Selected candidates have to work at BRIC-IBSD, Shillong Centre, Meghalaya. The reservation will be as per the Govt. of India norms.
