Applications are invited for the DBT funded Project entitled "Use of CRIPR/Cas gene editing technology for functional characterization of a putative cyclic nucleotide-gated channel gene for developing spot blotch resistant wheat genotypes". Positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project in the Department of Genetics & Plant Breeding, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005, U. P.
Post : Research Associate I (RA-I) One Post (1)
Salary : INR 58,000/-Реr Month +18% HRA
Duration : Initially for 1 year. Extension will be provided based on performance in first year. Project duration is for three years
Essential qualification : A Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding Plant Pathology/Agricultural Botany/Plant Biotechnology or a related discipline from a reputed University/Institution.
Desirable qualification : Proven track record of molecular biology, biotechnology techniques or genomic pipelines, supported by two (02) research papers as a First Author or Equal First Author research publications in SCI-indexed journals.
Age : 40 years (Age relaxation SC/ST/OBC Physically Handicapped/Female for the GOl rules) as on date of interview.
