King George’s Medical University (KGMU), located in Lucknow, India, is one of South Asia’s leading academic medical institutions, known for its deep commitment to excellence in medical education, groundbreaking research, and world-class clinical care. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the aforementioned posts under the Department of Health Research funded research projects entitled “Biomarker signatures for early detection of paradoxical reaction and disability in tuberculous meningitis : A longitudinal study to develop a Point-of-Care tool” and “In house 3D Ophthalmic prosthesis printing” under the DHR-MRU CoRE.
Research Scientist-I
Number of Post : 01 (One)
Essential Qualifications :
MBBS/BDS from any institute recognized by NMC/NDC (erstwhile MCI/DCI) or BE/B.Tech degree in Bio Technology; or First class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences or related subject or equivalent degree from a recognized University; or Second Class M.Sc with Ph.D degree in Life Sciences or related subject or equivalent from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualifications :
a) Doctorate or M.Tech Degree in related science or engineering subject or PG degree in Medical or Dental Sciences in the related subject from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.
b) Additional Post-doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects from recognized institute(s)
c) Knowledge of Bioinformatics.
d) Experience in molecular biology techniques.
Salary : 56,000/-+HRA per month
Research Scientist-I

Essential Qualifications : Post Graduate Degree in Life Science/Biotechnology/Biochemistry /Microbiology or equivalent from recognised University/Institute Desirable Qualifications: Experience in molecular biology techniques (ELISA/Nucleic acid extraction)
Salary : 28,000/- +HRA per month
