Opportunity for M.Pharm or M.S Pharm to work on ANRF-PMECRG funded project at BITS

Post : Junior Research Fellow (ONE)

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work on ANRF-PMECRG funded project (ANRF/ECRG/2024/002331/LS), under the supervision of Dr. Yuvraj Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, India.

Title of the project : Development and Evaluation of a Multifunctional Ionic Liquid Composite for Breast Cancer Therapy 

Duration of the project : 36 months 

Workplace : BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus Broad area of research : Pharmaceutics, Nano-biotechnology, Parenteral Product Development 

Fellowship amount : Rs. 37,000 p.m. + 30% HRA for the first two years (JRF); 
Rs. 42,000 p.m.+30% HRA for the third year (SRF). As per DST norms, the amount may vary for non- NET/GATE candidates. 


Eligibility requirements (mandatory) : First Class Postgraduate with M.Pharm. or M.S. (Pharmaceutical Sciences/Associated Discipline) 

Desirable : • Strong background in pharmaceutical and parenteral product development, bioanalytical method development, handling of HPLC and/or LC-MS, acquaintance with mammalian cell culture practices. Industrial experience will also be considered. 
• Qualification in national-level exams such as GPAT/NET/GATE or equivalent

Selection process : Please note that only qualified and suitable candidates will be notified for Interview via email. Interview would be through Zoom/Google Meet. Depending on the performance, the selected candidate may be permitted to register for the PhD program at the BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus, subject to fulfilling the institutional eligibility criteria and requirements.
