Openings for Pharmacists at Municipal Corporation

Jamnagar Municipal Corporation Health Branch, under the National Health Mission, has issued an advertisement to fill the following staff posts in Jamnagar Corporation on a temporary basis on a contract basis of 11 months and to create a waiting list for them. Candidates with valid qualifications will have to apply online at the link of Arogyasathi software arogyasathi.gujarat.gov.in from 10/06/2025 to 20/06/2025. Pharmacist cum data assistant (RBSK)
No of posts : 01
Qualification : Candidate should have done Bachelor of Pharmacist/Diploma Pharmacist from a recognized College/University. Candidate should have registration of Pharmacist Council of Gujarat.
Salary : Rs. 16,000/-
Age Limit : 40 Years

Pharmacist (NHM)
No of posts : 01
Qualification : Candidate should have done Bachelor of Pharmacist/Diploma Pharmacist from a recognized College/University. Candidate should have registration of Pharmacist Council of Gujarat.
Salary : Rs. 16,000/-

Method of preparation of merit list :-
For RBSK Pharmacist cum Data Assi. :-
1) 40% of the percentage obtained in Higher Secondary Board (Science subjects)
2) 40% of the percentage obtained in Graduation.
3) 10% for candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Board from Gujarat -
4) 10% for candidates with Graduation qualification from Gujarat.
5) 3% deduction for each attempt more than once in H.S.C.
6) 3% deduction for each attempt more than once in Graduation.
7) In case of equal merit for the post of Pharmacist cum Data Assi., preference will be given to those having additional certificate/qualification in Management/Computer.

For Pharmacist (NHM) post :-
1) 40% of the percentage obtained in Higher Secondary Board (Science subjects)

7) If there is experience of dispensing drugs in hospital/dispensary, then maximum 10% as 1 mark for 1 year of experience

Important instructions for filling the online form:-
• In case of candidates who have completed their medical degree from abroad for the post of Medical Officer, the marks obtained in the MCI-FMG screening test will be taken into consideration in order to maintain equality due to discrepancies in the foreign and Indian grading system. Registration with Gujarat Medical Council is mandatory.
• Registration with Gujarat Pharmacy Council is mandatory for the post of Pharmacist.
• Merit list will have to be prepared based on the percentage obtained in the final year of the original qualification.
• For more than 1 trial, 3% deduction will have to be made per trial.
• Attempt certificate will have to be attached compulsorily.
• The number of attempts indicated in the mark sheet will be considered valid.
• Only the application of the candidate received online at https://arogyasathi.gujarat.gov.in will be accepted. Applications received through R.P.A.D. Speed Post, Courier or Simple Post will not be accepted.
• Photocopy of legible original documents will have to be uploaded in the software. Applications will not be accepted if the required documents are not uploaded.
• Applications with incomplete details will be invalid.
• Candidates will not be able to apply more than once.
• The contract period for the above posts will be for 11 months. This period can be increased or decreased based on the requirement and budget.
