The origins of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) are rooted in the Indian Cancer Research Centre (ICRC), which was established in 1952 in Parel, Mumbai, under the purview of the Ministry of Health, Government of India. In 1966, ICRC was renamed the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) and amalgamated with the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), creating the first comprehensive cancer centre in India - the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.

Project : “Rapid and Affordable Diagnostics for stratifying Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (RADICAL)”
Description : Prospective four year ICMR funded study which will develop long-read nanopore sequencing diagnostics for acute leukemia using fusion detection, low-pass whole genome sequencing, and methylation- based classifiers using artificial intelligence/machine learning.
Job Description : This is a requirement for a person who will be a trial coordinator. The primary responsibility of this person is to coordinate between registrars, oncologists, and laboratories, identify and direct ALL patients and refer them to concerned faculty for consent. Location will be in TMH Parel, Mumbai.
Education Qualification : B.Sc in Life Science or Master of Science (MSc.) In Clinical Research or equivalent.
Age Limit : 35 Years (Maximum age)
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 30,600/-p.m
Duration : Six Months & Extendable.
