The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is a Comprehensive Cancer Centre with a mission to achieve the highest standards in patient care, cancer prevention, cancer research and professional development for oncology and allied disciplines. TMC is an autonomous body funded, controlled by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. TMC is affiliated to Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI). 

Post : Junior Research Fellow

Interested and eligible candidates may attend Walk-In-Interview for following posts for services including but not limited to NGS Lab. Studies for “Cancer Genomics Laboratory” under the project. Candidates are required to carry Bio-Data, Recent Passport Size Photograph, Original documents of PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Experience Certificates, Education Certificates and One Set of Self-Attested Copies of All Certificates for attending Interview.

Junior Research Fellow (Wet– Lab) - 01 Post
Essential Qualification and Experience : Master Degree in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Genetics / Zoology / Life Sciences / Biochemistry with minimum 60% marks.
Preferences will be given to candidates with a minimum of 6 months of exposure in molecular biology techniques/molecular diagnostic laboratory. 
The role of the candidate will be to be actively involved in sample preparation for Next Generation Sequencing of cancer patients.
Age limit: - 30 years as on date of interview. 
Consolidated Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 32,000/- 

Junior Research Fellow (Bioinformatics) - 01 Post
Essential Qualification and Experience : Master Degree in Bioinformatics or in any stream of biological Sciences or Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks with the knowledge of Scripting language (R, Perl and Python) and able to handle operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows). 
The role of the candidate will be to handle Next Generation Sequencing data (targeted sequencing, whole exome sequencing, and transcriptomic) and to perform the secondary and tertiary analysis to create report and troubleshoot.
The role of the candidate will be to be actively involved in sample preparation for Next Generation Sequencing of cancer patients.
Age limit: - 30 years as on date of interview. 
Consolidated Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 32,000/- 


The appointment is initially for a period of six months or till the continuation of project, whichever is earlier.

The outstation candidates may attend the Interview Online.
