Umedica Laboratories Hiring Marketing Professional

UMEDICA is a vertically integrated company engaged in the manufacturing and export of a wide range of finished formulations i.e., Injectables, Tablets, Capsules, Suspensions, Dry Syrups, etc. UMEDICA's manufacturing facility, located in Vapi (Gujarat), is approved by global regulatory. UMEDICA was founded in 1983 and has business operations in more than 85 countries including the USA, Canada, EU, UK, Australia, Middle East, Central & South American countries, Africa, Asia & CIS countries.

Post : Executive / Sr Executive - International Marketing, USA & Canada

As part of our further expansion and growth plans, we are looking to hire an aggressive and dynamic Marketing Professional (Executive / Sr. Executive) who will assume the Sales & Marketing responsibility for the US & Canada Markets specifically for our Finished Formulations Business. UMEDICA currently has 11 products approved and commercialised in the US market and a number of additional products currently under filing / in the development pipeline. 
This position is based at our Corporate Office at Nariman Point in Mumbai and will report into the Manager – International Marketing. The remuneration package will be commensurate with the incumbent’s professional experience and will be in line with market standards.

Essential skills and experience : 
The incumbent must have at least 2-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry handling international business development and marketing for regulated markets. Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for: 
• End-to-end product life cycle management from product launches, demand & delivery planning for existing products to its financial realisation in UMEDICA’s product portfolio; 
• Responsible for co-ordination with the factory/ regulatory / planning and operations/ SCM team and also with other internal teams for activities targeting top-line and bottom-line growth in the region; 
• Driving sales to achieve targets and ensuring a healthy P&L for the regional countries. Liaising with clients to ensure optimum inventory levels are maintained to ensure optimum sales are achieved; 
• Analysing data, preparing business forecasts or sales and profitability forecasts, for example: analysis of export data / IQVIA data; • Ensure robust planning and detailed execution of the project as needed to Launch International operations in the territories; 
• Track and manage the financial transactions with support from the finance and accounts team for milestones, invoices & profit payments; 
• Maintain & share monthly MIS to track the progress against open KRAs

Preferred Education requirements : 
Bachelor’s in pharmacy or related science discipline. 
Candidate having a post-graduation degree (i.e. MBA) will be preferred.
