King George's Medical University, formerly Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University, is a medical school located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. It came into being after the upgrade of King George's Medical College into a university by an act passed by government of Uttar Pradesh on 16 September 2002.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates who have high motivation to pursue Biomedical research, for the Two PhD positions under Prof. Shailendra Kumar Saxena, Stem Cell/ Cell Culture Unit, Center for Advanced Research, King George’s Medical University, Lucknow.
Essential Qualification : A Master's degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or equivalent with a valid National level fellowship (JRF/SRF of various funding agencies e.g. CSIR, UGC, DST, DBT, etc.) INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowship.
Desirable : Experience in Stem Cell/ Cell Culture, Molecular Biology (NGS, Micoarray, RT-PCR etc.), Virology etc.
