Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) is a company promoted by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India with shareholding from the All India Financial Institutions and corporate sector for facilitating commercialization of biotechnology. BCIL has been providing specialized consultancy in different areas of biotechnology to various Government departments and private organizations. It has successfully undertaken a number of assignments for Government and other agencies such as preparation of feasibility studies/Detailed Project Report for commercial biotech ventures /Market Survey for biotech products/technology.

Post : Project Executive (Consultancy)

Nature of job : Tenurial post on contract for three years (extendable on yearly basis based on performance).

Location : New Delhi

Qualification : M.Sc in Life Sciences or its allied areas. MBA or PGDBM or any relevant project management diploma/certificate from a reputed institute / university would be an added advantage.

Desirable skills : Candidates should have good writing, presentation and communication skills with sound knowledge of Ms. Office particularly Ms Excel and Power point.

Experience : Minimum 1 year experience in Project Management Organization / Project Consultancy. Preference would be given to candidates who have conducted technical and financial feasibility studies.

Scale of pay : 11500-800-19500-1000-29500

Gross remuneration would be approximate Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- per month depending upon relevant qualification and experience. Gross remuneration would include House Rent Allowance, Medical allowance Conveyance allowance, Mediclaim Insurance, Contributory Provident Fund and Gratuity.

Age limit : Maximum 35 years at the time of applying

Job description :
• Preparation of detailed project reports, preparation of business plans, feasibility reports for biotech products/biotech ventures
• Conceptual designing of layout of biotech facilities
• Good knowledge of biotech instrumentation
• Coordination with stakeholders for necessary information and compiling it into documents/reports
