National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad is an "Institute of National Importance" with proclaimed objectives of becoming Centre of Excellence for advanced research in pharmaceutical sciences. NIPER-Mohali was the first institute established in the year 1998 under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, the Govt. of India. Later, the DOP established 6 new NIPERs across the country including NIPER-Hyderabad which started functioning from 19th October 2007, from the premises of erstwhile R&D Centre of IDPL, Balanagar, Hyderabad.
NIPER Hyderabad is currently looking for highly motivated doctoral candidates who have qualified DST/DBT/CSIR/ICMR and DST Inspire Ph.D fellowships. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid background in respective discipline and he/she should be a self-motivated personality with an independent, target-oriented, and systematic working style. A high degree of creativity and flexibility, as well as excellent collaborative skills is expected.
Eligibility Criteria : M.S. (Pharm.)/ M.Pharm./ M.Tech. (Pharm.)/ M.Sc./ M.E./ M.V. Sc./ M.D. (Medicinal Chemistry/ Process Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Natural Products/ Pharmacology & Toxicology/ Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutics/ Formulations/ Pharmacoinformatics/ Pharmaceutical analysis/ Biomedical Engineering); M.Sc. (Organic/Analytical Chemistry); M.B.A. (Pharm.).
