The council was created under the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Act 1995, following demands of Ladakhi people to make Leh District a new Indian Union Territory because of its religious and cultural differences with the rest of Jammu and Kashmir. In October 1993, the Indian Union Government and the Jammu and Kashmir State Government agreed to grant Ladakh the status of Autonomous Hill Council. The council came into being with the holding of elections on 28 August 1995

Application on plain paper along with required documents, for the below mentioned posts are hereby invited from the permanent residents of Leh District, to be temporarily engaged on consolidated stipend/Honorarium. Prescribed academic/ Technical qualification, monthly stipend and other conditions are as under;

SNM Leh
No of Posts : 02
Monthly stipend/ Honorarium : 10,000/-
Qualification required : Diploma in relevant trade from SMF or any other recognized institute.

SDH, Diskit
No of Posts : 01
Monthly stipend/ Honorarium : 10,000/-
Qualification required : Diploma in relevant trade from SMF or any other recognized institute.

PHC, Tanqtse
No of Posts : 01
Monthly stipend/ Honorarium : 10,000/-
Qualification required : Diploma in relevant trade from SMF or any other recognized institute.

Sub Centre Spangmik
No of Posts : 01
Monthly stipend/ Honorarium : 10,000/-
Qualification required : Diploma in relevant trade from SMF or any other recognized institute.

Documents required: Self attested copies to be enclosed with application.
I. 10th Marks Card
II. 12th Marks Card
III. Final year Marks Card of relevant diploma in respect of Pharmacist/ Staff Nurse.
IV. Permanent Resident Certificate.

Criteria for selection on prorate basis
Pharmacist : Diploma in relevant trade = 100 Points

Terms and condition for engagement:
I.  The engagement shall be purely seasonal and shall be terminated at the end of season.
II.  At the time of engagement the selected candidate shall have to file an affidavit undertaking (duly attested by Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class) to the effect that he/ she will not claim for permanent absorption in Govt. Service.

The desirous candidates are advised to submit their application with required documents in the office of Deputy Director District Employment and Counselling Centre, Leh with one passport size photograph.

The Last date of submission of application form is 29th June 2019
