Job Overview
The Data Coordinator I provides administrative and technical support to internal Covance departments, demonstrates knowledge of Covance database(s) and assists in problem solving issues related to revisions as requested by clients. This position guarantees timely completion of revisions and or modifications normally associated to basic and moderate-complex requests.
Responsibilities of the Role
• Review revision requests to ensure the information provided is accurate
• Complete data revision requests and follow up with the requestor, if required
• Perform data revision functions on requests including, but not limited to, ordering, moving, or deleting test groups, resulting or modifying current test results, investigator changes, and visiting reassignments
• Conduct self-quality checks on data revisions
• Resolve database and project issues, coordinating with other departments, if required; escalate wherever appropriate resolutions are incomplete
• Work in collaboration with the Global Data Reconciliation Centre team to assist in day-to-day activities
Candidate Profile
• A graduate degree
• Previous experience of at least a year in healthcare, medical, or a laboratory
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate
• High degree of attention to detail
• Good organisation skills
• Demonstrated ability to multitask
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
