Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was established under an Act passed by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in July, 1998. The mission of the University is to create an intellectual, academic and physical environment, conducive to free flow of ideas and exchange of information between various faculties of the University and between this University and other Universities of Health Sciences in the country and abroad,thereby opening a window to the world for the health professionals, health planners, health managers, biomedical and social scientists and educators in health sciences of the country.

Applications are invited on the prescribed format available on the University website for the post of JRF in DST- SYST funded project on "Development of a novel non-invasive probiotic map for differential diagnosis of gluten allergy and celiac disease patients".

Age : Below 30 years on date of interview (Relaxation in age is permissible as per University rules)

Fellowship : 25,000+ 12.5% HRA

Tenure : Initially for one year, extendable up to the duration of the project based on performance and availability of the fund

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. (Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ or its related subject like life Sciences) M. Pharmacy or its equivalent from a recognised University/Institute and CSIR-UGC NET/ GATE/GPAT/ICMR-JRF etc. or any other national eligibility test

Desirable Qualification : Publication in impact journals and previous research experience in the field of research project

Terms and Conditions : No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
