JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, also known as JSS University, is a deemed university located in Mysore, Karnataka. It was established in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 and is part of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which runs a variety of educational institutions. This deemed-to-be university is recognized by both MHRD and NAAC at A Grade, has been focusing more on teaching, research and service , from its inception. Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the SERB-DST sponsored research project entitled “Novel strategies for improving the anticancer efficacy of therapeutic nucleic acids against breast cancer stem cells: implication of targeted/combinatorial drug regimens”, sanctioned to the undersigned. The duration of the project is three years.
Essential Qualifications:
Post graduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (M.Pharm./MS) with first class or equivalent CGPA. GATE/GPAT Qualified candidates will be given preference.
Desirable Qualifications:
Research experience in cell culture and molecular biology methods/ GPAT/ Publications in indexed journals.
Salary: Rs. 25,000 + HRA per month for 1st & 2nd year and Rs. 28,000/- + HRA per month for 3rd year
The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project. Other terms & conditions will be governed as per guidelines issued by the funding agency/University for the above project staff as amended from time to time. The performance of JRF will be evaluated every year and extension will be given on satisfactory performance.
