CSIR- Central Drug Research Institute (CSIR-CDRI), a premier drug research institute of India was inaugurated on 17th Feb 1951 by the then Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru with a vision to strengthen and advance the field of drug research and development in the country. The Institute has made significant accomplishments in the pursuit of its mission to New Drugs & Technologies for affordable healthcare for all, generation of knowledge base and nurturing future leaders for healthcare sector. Today, it has become a unique model for modernized drug research in India – having everything under one roof, from synthesis, screening, development studies, process up-scaling to clinical studies.

Project JRF
Title of the Project : SERB (DST) (GAP0228) “Decarboxylative cross couplings en route to the synthesis of heterocycles.”
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry with 60% marks and NET-LS or GATE qualified.
Stipend (Fixed) : Rs.25,000+ HRA for first two years & Rs.28,000+H RA for 3rd year
Age :  30 Years

 

Timing:- Eligible candidates are required to report for the Interview at 9:00AM on 29-06-2017. Candidates reporting after 10:00AM will not be entertained. The eligible candidates may appear before the Selection Committee for interview on the date and time mentioned above at CDRI New Campus, B.S.10/1, Sector-10, Jankipuram Extension, Sitapur Road, Lucknow-226031. Eligible candidates must bring with them a duly filled application (which can be downloaded from our website  cdri.res.in), with original & attested copies of mark sheets/certificates etc. alongwith a recent passport size photograph.

General Conditions:
1. Age relaxation will be admissible to SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Women candidates as per GOI orders.
2. Suitable candidates may be empanelled for future requirement if any, under different projects.
3. The date for determining age/qualification and experience shall be the date of interview.
4. The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned projects. The candidates engaged in these projects will not confer any right implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization against any CSIR/CDRI post(s).
5. The number of positions against the various projects can be vary at the time of selection depending on the requirement of the Institute.
6. Selected candidates will not be allowed automatically for CSIR-CDRI PhD programme in the Institute. However, if they qualify for CSIR-SRFship on completion of two years period as project staff, they can register themselves in AcSIR. Such Project Staff will have to resign from the project before joining at SRF.
