Research Fellowship for Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology candidates at IIT (BHU)

Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate (RA) at a Fixed Stipend/ Fellowship/ Salary amount of Rs. 65,500 p.m. in a DBT Sponsored Project entitled “To Establish a Scalable, Pilot-Level Biomanufacturing Process for Epirubicin Production Using Microbes Streptomyces Clavuligerus from Cane Molasses (BT/PR61643/BME/172/90/2025)” sanctioned up to 2 Year. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Duration : 6 Months, Extended to 2 years based on performance

Essential minimum qualification : Ph.D. or Master Degree in Biochemical Engineering/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Environment Engineering/Botany or equivalent with at least 1 paper in SCI Journal.

Desirable qualification, if any : Familiar with Fermentation technology, Bacterial culture & related instruments (HPLC & Fermenter)

Maximum Age : 40
Relaxation for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates : The upper age limit is up to 5-years in the case of relaxation candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates (as per Gol)
