Project title : Mapping Pathogenic PostTranslational Modifications on Tau in Alzheimers Disease and Their Selective Clearance via Nanobody E3 Ligase Chimeras.
Number of positions : 01

Consolidated Monthly Remuneration including HRA : (i) Rs.37,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
(ii) Rs.30,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above

House Rent Allowance per month (If applicable) : HRA@30% i.e. 11,100/- for scholars satisfying (i) and 9,000/- for others who do not fall under (i) above
Duration of appointment : 1 year (Extendable)

Essential Qualification/Experience as per the norms : Four years Bachelor's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / BVSc / B. Pharm or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine or from a recognized University or equivalent

Desirable Qualification / Experience : Prior relevant experience with peptide synthesis and protein/peptide biophysical characterization methods. Good communication skills.

Age Limit (If applicable) : 35 years as on last date of submitting application

Job Description : The successful candidate will assist in:
• Synthesis and Biophysical characterization of peptides.
• Carrying out spectroscopic/microscopic analysis.
• Organizing research data, managing databases, preparing reports and presentations.
• Maintaining documents and assisting with laboratory operations.
• Ensuring proper organization of the lab workspace.
