Pharmacist Recruitment under Office of the CMHO

As per the approved ROP of Bemetara District (CG) for the financial year 2024-25, appointments are to be made to vacant contract positions in various national health programs under the National Health Mission, Bemetara District (CG).  The details of the contract positions are as follows

Post : Pharmacist - NHM

No of post : 01
Qualification : Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy (50%) & Registration in CG Pharmacy Registration council.
Salary : Rs. 16,500/-

Age Limit
1. As of 01 January 2026, the minimum age shall be 18 years, and the maximum age shall be 70 years for medical posts and 64 years for managerial posts. Age will be calculated as of 01 January 2026. This age limit includes all applicable relaxations.  
2. For contractual recruitment, all rules and conditions of the Human Resource Policy 2018 issued by the Mission Director, National Health Mission (Chhattisgarh), as well as all guidelines issued from time to time, shall apply.

Details of Application Fee 
Candidates must submit a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of "NON NRHM OTHER FUND BEMETARA," payable at the HDFC Bank, Bemetara branch, to pay the application fee. It is mandatory to attach the original DD for the application fee; this will be refunded upon participation in the skill test. In the event that a single candidate applies for more than one post, the application fee will be refunded for only one post. The application will be automatically rejected if only a photocopy is attached or if the application fee is not paid.

Regarding the Application Form
1. All guidelines related to the advertisement are available on the district website bemetara.gov.in.
2. Applications will be accepted only via Registered Post or Speed ​​Post at the Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer (Near Signal Chowk, Bemetara, District-Bemetara, Chhattisgarh) until 05:00 PM on 14/08/2028. Applications received through any other mode or after the prescribed deadline will not be accepted. The department will not be held responsible for postal delays.
3. The number of advertised contractual posts is subject to change.
4. The number of advertised posts includes backlog vacancies.
5. Applications will be accepted only in the prescribed format; erroneous or incomplete applications will not be considered valid.
6. All documents must be complete prior to the prescribed deadline for applications; otherwise, the said documents will not be considered valid.
7. Applicants should carefully review and understand all the guidelines provided in the application form and fill in accurate and complete information. The applicant bears full responsibility for any incomplete or erroneous information provided; the application may be rejected at any stage of the selection process due to such errors or incompleteness without prior notice.
8. Candidates applying for the post of Community Health Officer who have passed the B.Sc. Nursing (Certificate in Community Health Integrated Course - CCH) or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (Certificate in Community Health Integrated Course - CCH) from a recognized university.
9. It is mandatory to attach self-attested photocopies of the complete mark sheets for every year (all years) corresponding to the mandatory/desired educational qualifications.
10. The District Level Selection Committee reserves the right to declare applicants eligible or ineligible at any stage of the recruitment process based on their qualifications.

Other conditions regarding recruitment
1. Only applications from candidates possessing the qualifications prescribed for the advertised post will be accepted; otherwise, the applications will be rejected.
2. Merely applying does not guarantee selection. Original certificates will be verified after the completion of the prescribed recruitment process but prior to the issuance of the final selection list; further action regarding selection will be taken only if the documents are found to be valid.
3. The list of candidates for the skill test, along with the test venue and other details, will be made available on the office notice board and the district website (bemetara.gov.in) from time to time. It is the responsibility of the candidates to check these updates regularly. No separate individual notification will be issued to the candidates.
4. The institution from which the educational qualification was obtained must be recognized by the UGC, AICTE, and the relevant council.
5. Claims or objections will be entertained only regarding the documents mentioned by the candidate in the application form. No new, additional, or supplementary documents will be accepted separately. No applications regarding claims or objections will be accepted after the deadline. Candidates must attach a photocopy of their identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID Card) with their claim/objection application. Failure to attach identity proof will result in the claim being declared invalid.
6. Regarding contractual recruitment, the reservation rules issued by the Government of Chhattisgarh and other instructions/orders/rules issued from time to time (as amended) shall apply.
7. The skill test will be conducted at the district headquarters as required. No travel allowance will be paid to candidates for appearing in the test.
8. Contractual Honorarium: A consolidated monthly honorarium and other amounts as per the provisioned ROP (Revised Pay Structure) during the contractual service period...  ...shall be payable accordingly; additionally, eligibility for travel allowance, vehicle, and other facilities shall be in accordance with the Human Resources Policy 2018.
9. The aforementioned contract period shall extend up to March 31, 2027. This period may be extended subject to a satisfactory performance evaluation. The contractual posts shall automatically cease to exist upon regular recruitment. The contractual appointment may be terminated at any time by giving one month's notice.
10. The contractual appointment of the selected candidate may be terminated at any time by giving one month's prior notice. Similarly, the candidate must provide one month's prior notice or deposit one month's salary before resigning.


11. Candidates eligible for special reservation categories (such as Persons with Disabilities, Ex-servicemen, or Women, as per applicable rules) must attach relevant documents issued by the competent authority. Failure to attach the required certificate to the application form will result in the candidate being considered under the General category.
12. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Class (OBC) categories must submit a caste certificate issued by the competent authority. Failure to attach the required certificate to the application form will result in the candidate being considered under the General category.
(Note: Holders of permanent caste certificates shall be eligible. Action in this regard will be taken in accordance with the instructions issued by the Government of Chhattisgarh from time to time.)
13. The said contractual post is non-transferable, and reporting for duty at the designated place of posting, as specified in the appointment order, is mandatory. Failure to report at the scheduled time and designated place of posting will result in the automatic cancellation of the selected candidate's appointment.
14. Candidates currently employed in government or semi-government institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by their employer.
15. The performance appraisal of the contractual employee will be conducted by the controlling officer. Services will be terminated if performance is found to be unsatisfactory.  
16. If, at any stage of the selection process, it is found that a candidate is exerting pressure in any manner or attempting to influence the impartial selection process, their application will be rendered invalid, and no claim in this regard will be entertained.
17. The District-Level Selection Committee shall have the sole authority to make the final decision regarding any dispute or issue arising during the recruitment process; such a decision shall be binding on all applicants.
18. If, at any stage of the recruitment process or even after selection, it is discovered that the information provided by the candidate in the application form is false/incorrect or that the documents are forged, the applicant's candidature shall automatically stand cancelled, and action shall be taken in accordance with the rules.
19. Errors of a factual, clerical, or typographical nature related to the advertisement or recruitment process may be rectified at any time or stage; due notification regarding such rectifications shall be published.

Accordingly, applications from all eligible and interested candidates will be accepted only via Registered Post or Speed Post at the Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Bemetara, District Bemetara (Chhattisgarh), up to 5:00 PM on 14/08/2026.
