Pharmacist openings under the National Health Mission

An advertisement is being published for vacant posts under the National Health Mission, Durg District, in accordance with the letter (Ref. No. NHM/Proj-4107/6/2025-Section(NHM)/200 dated 17-04-2025) from the Mission Director, National Health Mission, Nawa Raipur, Chhattisgarh, regarding the ROP (Record of Proceedings) approved for the financial year 2024-26. Interested and eligible candidates may submit clear and error-free online applications in the prescribed format via the website  durg.gov.in from 17.07.2026 until 5:30 PM on 31.07.2026. No applications will be accepted after the stipulated date and time or through any other mode.

Note
1. All posts are contractual.
2. Horizontal and category-wise reservation for women and persons with disabilities (PwD) will apply to the said posts in accordance with government rules and directives. Special reservation rules and conditions issued by the Government of Chhattisgarh from time to time shall also apply.
3. Possession of the mandatory educational qualification from a recognized institution/university is compulsory.
4. The final orders regarding reservation in this recruitment process shall be subject to the outcome of SLP (C) No. 19668/2022 pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, New Delhi.

Guidelines regarding online application
1. Applications will be accepted only online and in the prescribed format; they can be submitted via the website www.durg.gov.in from 17.07.2026 to 31.07.2026 (up to 5:30 PM, i.e., office closing time).
2. Application: Applications will be accepted online; candidates are advised to thoroughly study the guidelines provided in the advertisement before applying. Candidates must register online using their mobile number, after which the registration number and password will be sent to the registered mobile number. Candidates must ensure they log in using the registration number and password.
3. After filling out the online form, the applicant must click on 'Save Application' and then 'Final Submit'. It is mandatory to take a printout of the submitted online application, sign it, and upload the signed copy; otherwise, the application will be considered incomplete and rejected, and no claims or objections regarding this will be entertained.
4. After uploading the signed application, keep it safe, as it must be presented during document verification.
5. Along with the application, it is mandatory to upload the marksheet for the final year of the educational qualification (showing marks for all years) or marksheets for all years, as well as experience certificates/COVID experience certificates (along with appointment orders).
6. Applicants are not required to upload caste certificates, domicile certificates, relevant council registration certificates, disability certificates, or other such certificates at the time of application; these will be scrutinized in detail later during the document verification stage of the selection process.
7. All entries made by candidates in the online application must match the original documents. If, during the verification of original documents—either before or after final selection—it is found that the information provided in the application is incorrect or incomplete, or if incorrect information is detected at any stage, their eligibility or selection may be cancelled. The appointing authority's decision in this regard shall be final.
8. A merit list will be prepared based on the information entered by the applicant in the online application. If any incorrect or incomplete information is provided, the application will be automatically rejected without separate notification. Applicants must ensure they thoroughly study the guidelines provided in the advertisement before applying.
9. Application Fee: As per the letter (No. F 10-2/2022/F 10-2/2022/One (1) dated 08 April 2022) issued by the Secretary, Government of Chhattisgarh (General Administration Department, Mantralaya), no examination fee of any kind shall be charged to candidates who are local residents of the State of Chhattisgarh

Age Limit
1. For contractual recruitment, the minimum age shall be 18 years; the maximum age shall be 70 years for medical posts and 64 years for managerial posts.
2. Age shall be calculated with reference to 01 January 2026.


Required Documents
Applicants must bring the original copies of the following documents at the time of document verification-
1. 10th standard mark sheet (as proof of date of birth).
2. 12th standard mark sheet.
3. Mark sheets for all years of Graduation / Post-Graduation / other prescribed educational qualifications.
4. Valid registration certificate from the concerned council.
5. Domicile certificate issued by a competent authority (for residents of Chhattisgarh).
6. Permanent caste certificate issued by a competent authority (if applicable).
7. Disability certificate (UDID) issued by a competent authority, if applicable. For applicants with physical disabilities, it is mandatory to attach a valid disability certificate from the Medical Board indicating a disability of more than 40 percent.
8. Identity proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / PAN Card / Driving License, etc., containing the candidate's name, address, and photograph).
9. No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the employer, if the applicant is currently employed in a government, semi-government, or government-funded institution.
10. Appointment order and employer's experience certificate from the government, semi-government, or government-funded institution.

Other terms and guidelines regarding recruitment
1. All posts are purely contractual; the terms and rules for contractual recruitment will apply in accordance with the Human Resource Policy 2018 issued by the National Health Mission (Chhattisgarh) and any subsequent amendments.
2. Merely applying does not guarantee selection. Original certificates will be verified prior to the skill test; further action will be taken only if the documents are found to be valid.
3. Contractual Honorarium: During the contractual service period, a consolidated monthly honorarium and other amounts will be payable as per the provisions of the ROP (Record of Proceedings); no other allowances or facilities will be provided.
4. The contractual service period will be extended subject to a satisfactory annual performance evaluation.
5. After the selected candidate joins duty, the contractual appointment may be terminated by either party by giving one month's notice or by depositing one month's salary, in accordance with the Human Resource Policy. Similarly, the candidate must provide one month's notice before resigning; otherwise, they must deposit one month's salary.
6. In the event of a tie in marks, seniority will be determined based on the candidates' dates of birth. Candidates with an earlier date of birth (i.e., those who are older) will be given priority.
7. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Class (OBC) categories must submit a permanent caste certificate issued by a competent authority.
8. The said contractual post is non-transferable, and reporting for duty at the designated place of posting, as specified in the appointment order, is mandatory. Failure to report at the designated time and place of posting will result in the automatic cancellation of the selected candidate's appointment.
9. The performance appraisal of the employee appointed on a contractual basis will be conducted by the controlling officer.
In accordance with the letter (No. F 13-4/2023/G.A./1-3, Naya Raipur, dated 29.05.2023) from the Under Secretary, General Administration Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, the Unique Disability ID (UDID) card has been made mandatory. 
10. At the time of appointment, candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) quota must mandatorily submit a declaration form in compliance with Section 91 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

11. If, at any stage of the selection process, it is found that a candidate is exerting pressure of any kind or attempting to influence the impartial selection process, their application will be rejected, and no claim in this regard will be entertained.
Upon selection, all selected candidates must execute a bond undertaking to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned authority before applying for positions elsewhere.
12 The number of notified vacancies may be reduced, increased, or the recruitment process cancelled due to administrative reasons; the Selection Committee/Employer reserves the right to do so.
13 Candidates must ensure they review the published preliminary list of eligible/ineligible candidates on the departmental website (durg.gov.in); otherwise, the applicant shall be solely responsible for any errors discovered after the deadline for filing claims or objections.
14. The posting of selected candidates will be determined through counseling based on merit, allowing candidates to select their place of posting, designation, and program based on their merit ranking.
15. Following the contractual appointment, selected candidates are mandatory required to reside at their place of posting (establishing it as their headquarters).
16. The Collector-cum-Chairperson of the District Health Society holds the sole authority to make the final decision regarding any disputes or issues arising during the recruitment process, based on the recommendations of the District-level Selection Committee; this decision shall be binding on all applicants.
17. Following the scrutiny of received applications and attached documents, the list of eligible/ineligible candidates (for claims/objections), notices, and other instructions will be published on the district's departmental website (durg.gov.in) and the office notice board. It is the responsibility of the candidates to check these updates in a timely manner; no separate notification will be provided to candidates through any other medium.
