Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an institution of national importance and statutory body established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO as a Category II Centre. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.

Title of Project : Structural and biochemical analysis of EccA1+EspC complex, EccC+EsxAB complex and EccD1 transporter from M. tuberculosis ESX-1 system: Key targets for drug development.
Duration : One Year
Age : 26 Years as on 31.07.2026
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in life sciences with NET/DBT-JRF/GATE or equivalent exam cleared with Masters or equivalent degree.
Desirable Qualifications : Research experience in gene cloning, protein purification, and cryo-electron microscopy. Good oral and written communication skills. A strong motivation for a career in research.
