The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work under a DBT (BT/PR53788/BMS/85/251/2024) Sponsored project titled “Neural circuit mechanism of obsessive-compulsive disorder-like checking behaviour in mice: A study with a special focus on the role of hippocampo-medial prefrontal cortical neuronal circuit” under the supervision of Dr. Gireesh Gangadharan, Associate Professor in the Department of Ageing Research, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka, India.
Post : JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
Eligibility : M.Sc. in any field of Life Sciences.
• Candidate with UGC-CSIR / NET / GATE / DBT-BET qualification will be preferred.
• Research experience in behavioral neuroscience, molecular neuroscience, and computational
biology is highly desirable
Remuneration : Rs 37,000/- per month and HRA as per the DBT norms.
Duration of the project : 2 Years
