Chemistry Fellowship at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by ANRF, PMECRG having grant No. ANRF/ECRG/2025/002361/CS, under the supervision of Prof. Amrita Chakraborty, Department of Chemistry, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

CALL FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) FOR A PROJECT

Title of the project : Engineering chiral plasmonic nanoprobes for single-particle scattering-based detection of low-abundance biomarkers 

Duration of the project : 3 years 

Fellowship amount : Rs. 37000/month + HRA as (As per applicable ANRF, India norms / Institute norms). 

Eligibility requirements : First-class M.Sc. in Chemistry with valid GATE/NET qualified candidates preferred. 
Candidates with good knowledge in nanomaterials synthesis and characterization using UV-vis, FTIR, Raman, Fluorescence, Circular dichroism spectroscopy and Electron microscopy are encouraged to apply, 

Age limit : 28 years.

Please note that only qualified and suitable candidates will be called for interview. The online interview will be tentatively conducted in the last week of July.

Selected candidate may be permitted to register for Ph.D. programme of BITS Pilani, subjected to the fulfillment of the requirements.
