Applications are invited for Admission to the Collaborative Full-Time PhD Program between BITS Pilani, KK Birla Goa Campus, and IISER Tirupati, a joint research effort between two premier institutions, BITS Pilani and IISER, Tirupati.

Title of the project : Medicinal Mechanochemistry 2.0: Green Synthesis and Validation of Nucleoside-NCEs and Ribavirin Analogues that Target both the Helicase and RNA dependent RNA Polymerases as Flavivirus Inhibitors
Research areas : Organic Synthesis, Antiviral Drug Design, Mechanochemistry
Scope of work : Primary role: synthesis of small- molecules, in-silico design Other roles: cytotoxicity studies; antiviral assays.
Essential Qualification : MSc./ MS./ MPharm (or equivalent degree) with 60% aggregate (equivalent CGPA) in Organic Chemistry / General Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry / Biochemistry etc.
Desirable Qualification : NET/GATE/GPAT (hands-on experience in synthetic organic chemistry)
Fellowship : ₹37,000 for JRF + HRA (as applicable)
