Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences has been established under the State Legislature Act in 1983 and is named after Sanjay Gandhi. It was created by the state of Uttar Pradesh as a centre of excellence for providing medical care, education and research of the highest order. The institute is situated in a 550 acres (2.2 square kilometres) campus at Raebareli Road, 15 km from the main city. The Institute provides postgraduate training to medical and nonmedical professionals.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for One (01) post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in Department of Biotechnology (DBT) sponsored project entitled “Decoding alarmins role in high risk pregnancy and their causal role as novel bio markers”
Emoluments (Monthly) : Rs. 37,000 + 18% HRA
Eligibility Qualification : 1. M.Sc./M.Tech in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Science with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
2. Must have qualified National level examinations with valid score card: DBT-JRF/BET-Category II, CSIR/UGC-JRF/NET-LS, ICMR-JRF, GATE or equivalent National level examinations.
Desirable : Candidate having prior research experience with handling human blood samples, Mammalian cell-culture and Molecular biology techniques will be given preference.
General Terms and conditions
1. This position is entirely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
2. Original certificates and self-attested copies of all the documents need to be presented at the time of interview for verification.
3. Those appointed to this position will not have any claims for regularization of their employment.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
