Qualification : Ph.D., Master’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree with First class in all the preceding degrees in the appropriate branch, with an exemplary academic record throughout.
Experience :
• Assistant Professor –First Class Master’s degree in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy
• Associate Professor - Minimum 5 years of teaching or research experience at the level of Assistant Professor
• Professor – Ph.D with minimum 10 years of teaching or research experience in a PCI-approved institution, out of which at least 5 years must be at the level of Associate Professor
Head of Department (HOD) – Pharm.D.
• Candidates should possess the qualifications and experience prescribed by PCI for the position of HOD.
• Proven experience in academic administration, curriculum planning, accreditation processes, faculty mentoring, and institutional development will be preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates who have :
• Strong teaching aptitude with effective classroom delivery and student mentoring skills.
• Demonstrated research credentials with quality publications in Scopus/Web of Science-indexed journals.
• Experience in securing funded research projects, consultancy assignments, patents, and technology transfer.
• Active involvement in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), innovation, incubation, startups, and entrepreneurship initiatives.
• Experience in establishing and promoting Industry–Institute Interaction, collaborations, internships, and experiential learning.
• Exposure to NBA/NAAC accreditation, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), curriculum development, and academic quality assurance.
• Ability to organize FDPs, workshops, conferences, seminars, and value-added certification programmes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Proficiency in digital teaching tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), AI-enabled teaching practices, and blended learning methodologies.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute to institutional growth, student success, and academic excellence.
